Bill Gates wants you to read this book on AI and education written by Khan Academy CEO

Bill Gates recently recommended a book that focuses on how rapidly increasing technology might raise the standard of education worldwide. The book comes from the field of artificial intelligence. "Brave New Words: How AI Will Revolutionize Education (And Why That's a Good Thing)" was commended by the co-founder of Microsoft, who also stated that everyone should read it. Sal Khan, the creator and CEO of the nonprofit Khan Academy for education, is the author of this book.

On the social networking site X, which was then known as Twitter, Bill Gates posted, "This book is a must-read if you're passionate about education." Sal presents a strong plan for utilizing AI to increase opportunities for everybody.

The book centers on how ChatGPT and other AI-powered platforms could "revolutionize the way we learn and teach" by helping overworked educators and customizing curriculum. Bill Gates had previously stated that AI teaching might help "close the education gap," particularly for low-income pupils in developing nations, in a podcast with Sal Khan.

"I believe the AI will function similarly to an excellent high school teacher who assigns a grade on your essay, making you realize that you need to improve," he stated.

"These new tools can both close the gap and raise up the overall level of achievement," he continued, "if we think about the next 10 years, [in terms of] both the absolute level of learning and the gap with lower-income, minority students."
