Jharkhand crime news: Three family members were fatally cut with an axe in the Gumla district of Jharkhand today, February 9, reportedly due to a disagreement over the sharing of tree logs that had been fallen, according to police. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 pm in Sakrauli village, in the vicinity of Sisai police station, and one person was hurt, they stated.
"The family fight escalated into a physical altercation when one member struck four others with an axe. Sub-Divisional Police Officer Suresh Prasad Sahu said, "Three people were killed on the spot, and one was seriously injured."
According to him, the injured person was referred for additional care to Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS). According to authorities, two people were held in relation to the case.
