PM Narendra Modi hopes King Charles of Britain recovers quickly.

In response to a post on X by the British royal family that revealed the king was afflicted with a type of cancer, Prime Minister Modi expressed the best wishes.

On Tuesday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed the nation's best wishes for King Charles III of Britain's quick recovery from his cancer diagnosis.

In replying to a post on X by the British royal family that broke the news that the monarch was afflicted with a type of cancer, Modi expressed the best wishes.

Modi said on X, "I join the people of India in wishing His Majesty King Charles III a speedy recovery and good health."

According to a statement from Buckingham Palace, diagnostic testing that was done following the king's benign prostate enlargement surgery in the hospital revealed a type of cancer. The monarch has instituted a regimen of routine medical procedures, wherein he will postpone his public obligations.

The statement went on to say that the 75-year-old king decided to make his illness public in an effort to dispel rumors and to raise awareness for all cancer patients.
