PM begins Bihar LS poll campaign today with Jamui rally

At a rally in Jamui on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch his campaign for the Lok Sabha in Bihar. BJP ally Chirag Paswan has nominated his brother-in-law Arun Bharti as the LJP(R) candidate.

Modi began his campaign in Jamui for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which Chirag Paswan won a second time.

For the people of Jamui and the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), it is a source of pride that the Prime Minister has decided to begin his Bihar campaign from the constituency. According to Paswan, "We are committed to helping him achieve the target of 400+ seats for NDA, including all 40 in Bihar."

On April 7, Modi will speak at a second rally at Nawada. According to BJP's Nawada candidate Vivek Thakur, who is the son of prominent BJP politician and former federal minister C P Thakur, PM Modi will speak at a rally in Nawada on April 7 before midday.

A top BJP office-bearer stated that union home minister Amit Shah would also speak at a rally in Aurangabad on the same day.

The BJP is running for two of the four seats up for election in the first phase on April 19: Aurangabad and Nawada. Jitan Ram Manjhi, the founder of HAM-S and a former chief minister, is fighting for the NDA from Gaya.

BJP and JD (U) are vying for 17 and 16 of the state's 40 Lok Sabha seats, respectively, while LJP (R) is vying for five, HAM-S for one, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha for one.

The other LJP faction, headed by Pashupati Paras, was in contention for the Lok Sabha seat in Nawada.

A week prior to the Election Commission's announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi spoke at a rally in Aurangabad.

In the meantime, the RJD ridiculed the BJP, questioning whether the PM will also discuss dynastic politics in Jamui and Nawada.

RJD leader Shakti Yadav stated that if he spoke about dynasty politics, we would wait.

Tejashwi Yadav, a former deputy chief minister and leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, declared, "They will be on the campaign trail during polls, be it the Prime Minister or any other leader." However, the people of Bihar are curious about what they received in exchange for their tremendous five-year support of the NDA.

The NDA won 39 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the most recent Lok Sabha elections. However, Yadav claimed that the populace now feels duped.

Senior BJP politician and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, however, retaliated, stating, "The PM will enumerate his achievements and share his vision for the future in his speech in Jamui tomorrow." However, the opposition is occupied with insulting Modi because it has nothing constructive to say.
